Karyanna got out of bed and was feeling very sad. She turned eighteen years old two days ago and no one had a party for her or bought a single present to give her. She has been shunned from the Futarian comunity and now has been asked to leave their very private and well hidden comunity. You ask why this has happened to her, then this is why. A week before her birthday her ears began to change. At first they were hard to see because her long blonde hair kept them hidden but after a couple of days there was no hiding them anymore. She had long pointed ears and even her beautiful green eyes got greener. The Futarians are very protective of their kind and only allow pure blooded Futa girls to live in their comunity. Some of the more liberial Futarians that got sick of all the rules in this comunity moved out on their own and relocated in Granada but rarely reveiled that they were a Futa girls to anyone with exception to the chosen and trusted few. Karyanna had her rent paid until the end of the month so she still had almost three weeks to figure out where to move to. Unkown to Karyanna she was about to learn things that she could never of dreamed about... 

I don't get it, thought Karyanna. I was normal a week ago and I feel normal still. I am cute and young plus all my friends loved me and were looking forward to my eighteenth birthday but then these stupid ears grew. Now I have no friends and have to move out of Futaria. Why me, what did I do to deserve this. I am a good girl and followed all the stupid rules. Did great in school and even won awards in track and field and gymnastics. This all seems like a big bad dream. I wish I knew where my mother was, she would still love me and tell me why I am like this now. Being an orphan was hard enough to grow up but now this... I just don't get it. Well best get dressed and start looking for a place to live outside of Futaria. That is going to be scary. Never been outside of the town's boundries.
